Makiko is a veteran of the entertainment industry, specializing in booking celebrity talent and segment producing celebrity interviews for broadcast, online and radio.

Her experience ranges from entertainment news shows Access Hollywood and E! Entertainment Television to multiple Red carpet & live Pre-Shows for the Emmys, Grammys, & Golden Globes plus Pledge production at PBS’s then-flagship station KCET, contestants for “Celebrity Fear Factor” and many late night & daytime talk shows including “The Arsenio Hall Show”, Access Hollywood LIVE, “Vibe”, “Donny & Marie”, Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family” & “The Arsenio Hall Show” again.

Originally from New York, Makiko has a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcasting & Film from Boston University’s College of Communication and is Mom to adopted/rescued Pomeranians Harley, Davey & Cheri.
