CHUCK VINSON

With over 500 television shows, movies and variety specials to his credit, Chuck Vinson has become one of Hollywood’s best-known directors. Chuck’s work as a director for episodic television, stand-up comedies, and variety specials has afforded him the opportunity to work in several genres, both inside and outside of traditional television.

Chuck’s work has often been recognized by his peers—he has been the recipient of numerous directing awards including 2 NAACP Image Awards and a 1996 Cable Ace Award as well as two Emmy Award nominations for his work in children’s programming for Nickelodeon (Gullah Gullah Island and Clarissa Explains It All).

Chuck’s creativity as a Producer/Director along with his outgoing personality and attention to detail makes him a great asset to the team. Chuck will produce and direct video elements for Backhand from single camera shoots in the field, to large, multi-camera, HD concerts for our larger projects.
Chuck resides in Southern California with his family.
